The front and back are carved to look like coins held together by ropes. The very top has three hand painted panels depicting gorgeously detailed ocean landscape scenes. The drawers are carved with scrolling mist and chimera and outfitted with brass pulls. Very nicely detailed. Each display area is enclosed on three sides with a low carved lattice work.
