Chinese necklace created by the well-known California jewelry artist, Pat Tseng. The necklace is skillfully made with yarn-stuffed hand-dyed silk tubing for a modern effect. This is combined with traditional Chinese knot work to highlight a special antique jade carving. The carving, a medallion shaped piece of green and yellow jade, has a pair of chimera facing a central Shou symbol signifying longevity, health, and a long, prosperous life.

An antique Tibetan door once belonging to an offering cabinet or tantric torgam. The door is painted with a ferocious scene of a wrathful being holding a knife in one hand. In the background, a figure is being disemboweled by wild animals. Various other body parts and auspicious objects decorate the negative space. The painting combines tantric imagery with wrathful iconography and is meant to strike fear into hindrances while assuring divine protection to practitioners.

Well balanced Antique Japanese handcarved ranma (architectural transom panel) depicts a dynamic kirin moving toward a luxuriant bloom of peonies, all rendered in deep relief from a single hardwood plank.
