A small stream flows down the hillside and birds fly in the sky. The horses are especially beautiful - a dappled one prances in the grass. Chinese antique round lacquer footed dish inlaid with beautiful mother-of-pearl designs of flowers and vines. The inside rim of the dish is inlaid with scholar objects including a brush, scrolls and coins. The flowers are precisely detailed and appear to be in the clematis family.

Chinese pottery hu vessel, dating to the Han Dynasty (206 BCE – 220 CE). The vessel is of flattened pear shape with a tall neck, flaring square mouth, and raised square base. The luohan is skillfully carved in such an purposeful way the the colors of the agate emphasize details.
