Pair of antique Chinese Horseshoe Chairs made of Elm and original rattan woven seats with original support structure to the underside. They each have 3 back splat panels which are indicative of the 18th Century Kangxi Period. Antique Chinese Dehua (blanc de Chine) porcelain figure of Guan Yin, the feminine Chinese translation of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara. Holding a scroll in her left hand and prayer beads in her right, she sits with one knee raised. Her robes drape elegantly over her head and body. Antique Chinese large bitong or brush pot carved of one piece of huanghuali wood and inlaid with a scene of birds on a blossoming branch and a poem. Inlaid materials include bone, stone, lacquer and shell.
