A contemporary Chinese buffet chest in a red lacquer. Constructed using up cycled reclaimed wood of Pine and Elm providing a green footprint for the environment. An antique Chinese wardrobe cabinet made entirely of Jumu wood. Large circular nickel/brass plate door hardware representing a coin which symbolizes wealth and prosperity. It was originally commissioned and made for part of a woman's wedding dowry. Two large doors open to reveal a spacious storage area with a removable shelf which can adjust to two levels. Below the doors are three drawers with looped handles and a hand carved foliated apron.

Antique Chinese pale green and white jade vase. Carved in trapezoidal form tapering downward to a narrow base. One side is carved with a religious text and ribbon floating with a bat and clouds. Below a lingzhi mushroom sprouts from the rocky ground. The other side is carved with a waterfall over a rocky outcropping. The vase stands on a small carvedvhardwood base.

Antique Chinese figure of Quan Yin. Revered as the goddess of mercy and compassion she stands holding a strand of prayer beads in her hands. Her sweeping robes are decorated with scrolling details and her hair is arranged on top of her head. Also considered the goddess of beauty, her name in Sanskrit is Padma-pani (Born of the Lotus). In Japan, she is called Kannon. This figure is carved of wood and lacquered a deep red.

Antique Chinese vase with a raised water dragon on both front and back. Faceted sides are decorated with auspicious symbols. The sculpting of the dragons and other motifs is very 3 dimensional. The vase is glazed yellow, white, and aubergine on a rich green ground. The bottom of the vase is incised with the word "China". This was a requirement of all Chinese porcelain imported into the United States as early as 1890 and in accordance with the Stamp Act of 1894.

Antique Chinese Qingbai porcelain ewer. Delicately potted with very thinly walled construction. Dramatically lobed ovoid body. Trumpet neck with foliate rim. Curving strap handle incised lengthwise and with 5 raised round dots. Long curving and subtly tapered spout. The body and lower neck are incised with horizontal striping. While the foot remains unglazed, the rest of the ewer is covered with a transparent white, blue-green glaze exemplary of the Qingbai name.
