Antique Japanese long gyosho bako (merchant's box) with iron warabite handles on its back and front hinged door with flower-shaped lockpin. The inside holds four long drawers with ring pulls.

Japanese red cloisonne vase with imagery of purple grapes and multicolored pastel leaves on vines and two small, plump birds. The interior of the vase is a robin's egg blue crackle. Size: 14.25" height, 6" width

Antique Japanese two-section kiri (paulownia) tansu with interesting kakute (squared) iron handles paired with round locks on each of its drawers. The two sections connect at the sides with pierced iron plating. Great condition, 100% Kiri wood. Late Meiji Period Size; 43" height, 38" width, 16.5" depth

A lovely Unusual picture frame made with Japanese cloisonne imagery of white chrysanthemums and cascading leaves in gradient shades of green upon a muted yellow/beige background. Gorgeous hardwood has been used for the backing piece, with an old English style carved stand with chain, and an interior plaque that may be engraved. The frame is lined in silver. A real Treasure. Antique Japanese bronze lantern with "braid" and crosshatch style sides, a hinged door with locking latch, roof style top, and sitting on four legs. Great patina. Size: 12" height, 10,5" width

Antique Japanese Lacquer arrow (ya) case. Mounted archery was the primary and most respected mode of Japanese warfare until the introduction of firearms in the 16th century. As a reflection of this, archery equipment was beautifully crafted of formed bamboo, lacquer work, and leather strapping. Decoration of blooming cherry blossoms "sakura fabuki" accented in gold lacquer.
