A beautiful Japanese antique gilt copper Buddhist sutra box with allover impressions of peonies and other floral elements. Interior lined in gold flecked paper and gilt edges.

Beautiful Chinese antique display shelf made of Solid Jichi-mu wood (very heavy). The chest has three large display shelves, and two small drawers just under the top display area. The drawers are carved with scrolling mist and chimera and outfitted with brass pulls. Very nicely detailed. Each display area is enclosed on three sides with a low carved lattice work. Late 19th - early 20th Century Size: 69 1/2" high x 35" wide x 16 1/2" deep.

Large Antique Japanese oribe ware tebachi, or ceramic container with handles. The inside and outside edges are hand painted with scrolling leaves and flowers. Round ribbed body tapers at the foot, thick dripping blue and purple glaze around handles. 19th Century Size: 10.5" H x 16" W

Charming original print by the famed artitst Mayumi Oda. Entitled "Meet the Lord of Obstacle II" and numbered 27 in the series. The image depicts a green goddess (perhaps Green Tara, the Goddess of Compassion) in tantric embrace with a white Ganesha, the Hindu Remover of Obstacles. The Sun and Moon inhabit the sky at the same time above them. 1998. Signed by Mayumi Oda in pencil. Framed. Total size in frame: 29 1/4" high x 23 1/4" wide. Antique Chinese large porcelain architectural tile with old glue residue along its edges. Depicted are nine gold imperial dragons and fireballs over a background of enamel rolling sea waves, bordered top and bottom with gold scroll designs on red. 18th/19th century. Antique Japanese hibachi or brazier made of beautiful original keyaki hardwood. Bold natural grain with warm finish. The front features five small drawers convenient for storage. Glass has been added to the top of the allowing it to be used as a small table. (Glass removed for photos). Original seen in the patina copper within. Japanese antique tsuba (hand guard for a samurai sword), cast all of iron. The motif appears to be a combination of two kamon (family crests); one being the inside part of a mokko crest and the other the swirling comma shaped arms of a tomoe or mitsudomoe (Shinto) mon. The resulting design is an open work of elegant lines. Edo Period. Size: 3 1/8" wide diameter

Antique Japanese tsuba (hand guard for a samurai sword), made all of iron and cast in the form of a daikon raddish. The leafy tops of the daikon are highly raised and the raddish root itself twists around becoming the circular rounded edge of the tsuba. Wonderful three dimensional quality. Edo Period.
