Japanese woodblock print of a tall pagoda standing in a moonlit scene, with several ladies walking the streets under parasols, and small shops lit by lanterns along the side. Signed "Tangyu Asada" (1899-1984) with chop and calligraphy. Tangyu's birth name was Benji Asada, born in Kyoto, he was active in Sosaku Hanga artist circles in the area.

Antique Japanese Butsudan shrine, in 3-sections secured by mortise and tenon joinery and by side ropes. The exterior is lacquered in black with gilt decorative hardware and panels. Antique Japanese blackwood netsuke carving of a Hanna Noh theatre mask, with piercing gilt eyes and teeth, pointed ears and two short horns. The Hannya (般若) mask is a mask used in Noh theater, representing a jealous female demon. It possesses two sharp bull-like horns, metallic eyes, and a leering mouth. The backside of the netsuke has a calligraphy inscription / signature.
