Original drawer labels left intact. 20 drawers total. Great chest for filing papers and documents. Unusually wide drawers compared to the ubiquitous tiny drawers of the typical Kusuri Tansu.

An original painting by Mayumi Oda depicting a goddess holding an infant in one harm and a branch with pomegranates in the other. On her knee is a sleeping child. Painted in black ink on paper and signed in pencil along with a title "Hariti" and "for Yvonn and Bill". Hārītī (in Japanese, Kishi-mojin) was once an ogress but was shown a better path by the Buddha. She is known as a protector of children and women in childbirth.
