Fan Ho (1931-2016) was an award winning Chinese photographer, film director and actor. Born in Shanghai, he moved to Hong Kong when he was young and began photographing candid images of urban life with his Brownie camera. Chinese jade vase carved with blossoming flower branches and birds. Carved of a single jade pebble. The vase portion is a whitish green color and the flowers and birds are carved of the orange outer rind of the jade stone. Highly carved and three dimensional.
