Antique Chinese Canton plate with famille rose enamel scene of courtesans with their attendants, with a large altar to Budai. A gilt enamel censors and offerings lay before him on the altar table. The rim is decorated with chrysanthemums, and tiny scenes related to the main depiction. Mark of Kangxi in cobalt within a double ring, with three floral scrolling vine motifs.
