Chinese carving of immortals on a boat, made entirely of Zitan hardwood. The boat appears to be made of an ancient, gnarled tree sprouting flowers, with its canopy of leaves covering the passengers underneath. The 3 male immortal figures sit huddled closely around a lingzhi mushroom, which holds medicinal properties and is a symbol of longevity. One female immortal peers into the waters at the side of the boat with bottles of medicine at her side. The other female immortal figure has taken to the front of the vessel and gazes to the heavens above.
