An antique Japanese Kasane Tansu (Kimono chest on chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand forged iron hardware including the Mokko handles and the lock plates featuring a crossed feathers family crest of the original owner. Features three full width drawers, a partial width drawer and a hinged security door that hides 2 small drawers. Constructed with Japanese joinery and hardened wooden nails.
