An antique Japanese merchant box made of Kuri (Chestnut) and Hinoki (Cypress) woods. All original hand forged iron hardware and wiped Urushi lacquer finish. Hinged door opens to four storage drawers. Top handle used for carrying this box from client to client. Originally used
