An antique Japanese transom (Ranma) made entirely of Hinoki (Cypress) wood. Black lacquered frame surrounds an intricate tesselated lattice design that further surrounds an even finer tessellated pattern in the center. It would make a beautiful headboard or an elaborate wall hanging.
