An antique Korean Jang temple chest made of Odong Namu (Paulownia) and Chamnamu (Cryptomeria) woods. The front was designed with 24 framed square panels with upper and lower rows displaying horizontal grain panels and center rows displayed in a vertical grain. Two hinged doors open to a spacious storage area where temple garments and textiles were stored. Interior has its original paper lining.
