A beautifully crafted two-section Japanese cha tansu (tea chest. Featuring striking quarter sawn persimmon wood with bold natural grain patterns. Designed for tea service and everyday use, the upper section includes a variety of sliding doors—glass, wood, and shoji-style panels—as well as open shelving and display areas. The lower section provides ample storage with sliding doors and multiple drawers, all fitted with original bronze hardware.
