Japanese antique small ko tansu, personal chest. This table top box was built with two drawers for convenient storage of small items. Made of sugi (Japanese cedar, Cryptomeria) wood with a light, natural finish. Each of the two drawers is fitted with hand-foraged iron warabite-shaped drawer pulls.
