An antique Japanese Tansu chest known as a Kotansu made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. Originally used for personal storage, it would make a great accompaniment to a present day desk where drawer storage is needed. All original hand forged iron hardware. Unique Kanji identifying marks on the top add character and charm to the piece.
