Japanese antique byobu screen painting in two panels with a scene of a samurai on the back of a black horse. The warrior is dressed in armor and wears a jingasa (war hat) with a tall point. His bow rests in his lap. He has a coil of extra bow string attached to belt and arrows in a quiver on his back. His black war horse is outfitted with red tassels streaming from bridle and saddle. Cherry blossom petals float through the air and settle on the ground and rocks below.
