Pair of antique Chinese Horseshoe Chairs made of Elm and original rattan woven seats with original support structure to the underside. They each have 3 back splat panels which are indicative of the 18th Century Kangxi Period. With a slight difference in size, the male chair has a back panel wood carving of a ring connecting two arabesque vine patterns suggesting double happiness in marriage (called a Chou pattern). Antique Chinese Dehua (blanc de Chine) porcelain figure of Guan Yin, the feminine Chinese translation of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara. Holding a scroll in her left hand and prayer beads in her right, she sits with one knee raised. Her robes drape elegantly over her head and body. Her hair is swept up into a style befitting her bodhisattva status and her face exudes a sense of calm and extreme beauty. There is an impressed character mark on her back.

Antique Chinese large bitong or brush pot carved of one piece of huanghuali wood and inlaid with a scene of birds on a blossoming branch and a poem. Inlaid materials include bone, stone, lacquer and shell. The poem translates as: "Birds flying in a line, the tree is blooming, the blooming flower is falling to the ground, the spring mountain, one group of birds fly over the valley, sound makes a lonely sound". Antique Chinese bronze incense burner with two compartments and standing on 3 small claw feet. Lotus flower petals blooms outward like eaves on a lantern. The body is incised with scrolling vines and leaves and the lid is pierced with a cloud pattern. A finial handle is in the form of a lotus bud.

Antique Chinese silk robe fragment richly embroidered with butterflies and flowers. Two large butterflies with beautifully elongated and swirling wings fly amidst a profusion of densely embroidered flowers. In the center, a flower bunch is embroidered using the forbidden stitch technique in shades of pink. Edged with golden Buddhist symbols. Framed.
