Two Section stacking Chinese cabinet. Made od 100% rosewood hardwood. Original hardware. Upper cabinet has a pair of glass doors with two floating shelves. Very sturdy and well built.
Lower section has a pair of pull drawers and pair of hinged doors with lower useful storage compartment.

Antique Chinese 8 panel coromandel screen with a carved lacquer palace scene of noble figures on one side, pine trees and animals on the other. An inscription states that the screen was carved in the eleventh month of the thirty-second year of Kangxi. There is a poem that talks about the proud and powerful pine tree reaching for the sky and an approaching storm. The inscription also mentions a congratulations to Guo Zanzhang, a candidate for the the title of Dengshilang. Artist mentioned:... Click for details

Song Dynasty 'Henan' black and iron-oxide glazed Meiping pottery vase or jar. Oval form with high shoulders and small mouth with loop handles on either side. The almost abstract design of two large flowers is freely painted. Lovely rich black glaze on buff color pottery. Unglazed circular foot with glazed inset bottom.

Age: Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127)

Antique Chinese wooden box lacquered red and gold with designs of palace life. Noble figures and scholars stroll through gardens with fine pavilions and trees. The lid lifts to reveal a continuation of the theme.

Antique Chinese gilt bronze figure of a bodhisattva standing on a lotus. Flowing drapery and high hair style with crown. Hands in Gyan Mudra (knowledge). Downcast eyes and compassionate expression. Overall patina.

An antique set of 4 Huanghuali lamp chairs. Marble frame inset on back splat. Ancient archaic motif with beautiful Huanghuali grain. With a carved square floating medallion hard seat and a refined carved Han archaic style apron. Four bracing stretchers support each of the chair legs.

Antique Chinese stone head of a Bodhisattva. Eyes are down cast and expression is compassionate. Up swept hair and tall crown decorated with a central floral. Likely carved of limestone. With a custom metal base.

Age Qi dynasty 2nd to 5th century.

Antique Chinese Buddhist nimbus cast of bronze. 9 gilt Buddhas seated on lotus thrones float in a swirling mist. Gilt edging and beautiful green patina. With custom metal stand.

A vintage Chinese low table with 3 drawers made of Huanghuali. Top has a floating panel surrounded by a mitered frame. Each drawer front has a carving of 3 dragons. With beaded edge and inverted horse hoof feet.

An antique Huanghuali Chinese grain storage coffer in a square design. The hinged cover has a floating panel with time honored shrinkage surrounded by a frame. There are four protruding grooved square posts, one per corner that adds a decorative element. Hardware has brass mounts. Through mortise and tenon joinery construction and a beautiful patina acquired over its history. Front slatted moldings and 2 panel replacements using Jichimu wood. In the late Ming style.
