Rare Antique Korean Nong Two Section Chest
Very Rare and unusual highly inlaid Korean two section chest. Decorated with nine serpentine dragons of mother of pearl and faux tortoiseshell in horn. The front Nong has a brass escutcheon in the form of a butterfly with cut out detialing in its wings. It has complete circle knob brass locks and key. Korean vanity box made with persimmon wood panels. The box lid opens with brass hinges and brass front plating, incised with floral motifs. The interior of the box holds 4 compartments. Its sides conceal two small hidden drawers, opened by brass pulls, and the base of the piece has an interior low shelf.

Antique Korean Large Bedside Chest
A large Korean bedside chest or Morijang. The top of the chest holds a row of 3 drawers with hinged double doors below, and a row of four drawers along the very bottom of the piece. Motifs of butterflies and auspicious symbols are seen throughout the hardware plating. The interior holds a single curved shelf with decorating metal plating and a locking mechanism to hold its front doors securely shut.

Antique Korean Small Cabinet
A small, charming Korean single section cabinet. Three drawers with persimmon panels line the top of the cabinet, with a set of double doors below, on decorative iron hinges incised with sand dollars, and a central filigree edged lock. Within are two small drawers and a large open compartment. The very bottom of the piece has a front drop down lid with roomy open storage inside. The edges of the piece feature iron braces with floral motif studs.

Antique Korean elm wood (Keyaki in Japanese) cabinet, with gorgeous natural burl front panels. Four small drawers are along the top of this chest , with three sets of doubles doors below, decorated by brass hardware incised with auspicious symbols. The cabinet's interior is lined in old newspaper, and four of its doors are painted on the inside with charming figures, clouds, and lucky bats. 19th century.

Antique Korean 18th Century Low Scholar's Table
Antique Korean scholar's low table. Its top pair of panels are book matched of persimmon wood, with a boxwood frame. The inner compartment still shows traces of ink; The opposite compartment would hold brushes. The drawer has a wonderful persimmon cover that continues to the order of the low table. The low writing implement table has an inverted key fret leg and internal low shelf of boxwood.
