Japanese antique woodblock print in triptych entitled "A Picture of Yokozuna Entering the Ring" by Gyokuha Kiwani (active 1900-1920). The highest ranking sumo wrestler, the yokozuna is shown in the center flanked by two other wrestlers during the ring entering ceremony. The yokozuna is easily identified by the wide white rope he wears around his waist. The referee is seated to the right, holding a wide ceremonial fan. Chinese antique porcelain vase with bats. Made in gourd form with decorations of iron red bats and blue clouds. The clouds are in blue underglaze while the bats are over enamel painted technique. With six character Xuantong mark (1909-1911)

Chinese antique porcelain bowl with blue and white glaze. The interior design is of three cranes in flight and wisps of swirling clouds encircled by two concentric rings. The design on the outside of the bowl is of different alternating flower branches. With a six character Jiajing mark.

Antique Japanese large porcelain charger. Decorated with a blue and white glazed scene of a bird and peony flowers. A separate round reserved is dedicated to the open sky with a bird in flight and wisps of clouds. The rim is painted with an lined motif. Six character mark on the back.

Japanese Seto ware umanome "horse-eye" dish. Also called ishizara (stone ware) this type of sturdy plate with it's iconic iron oxide glazed circular motif would have been used in a rural inn to serve hearty food to travelers. An appreciation for the natural beauty of items made and used deftly by practiced hands became popular through the Mingei movement in the 20th century.

Medium sized Japanese blue and white charger with center koi floating center in a celadon green space. Rimmed with bamboo and blossoms.

The thinly potted shallow cup rising from a short flared foot to an everted rim, the rounded sides divided into six petal lobes by notches around the rim, resting on a stand of saucer shape with a hexalobed rim and stepped pedestal in the center, all on a trefoil-pierced petal-shaped foot, both covered overall with a pale ice-blue translucent glaze.
There is a single old kitsugi repair in gold on rim.

An antique pair of Japanese ceremonial boxes made of wood and decorated in natural Urushi lacquer and mother of pearl (Raden). All original hand forged iron fittings. Calligraphy writing reads "Kameyama, Kawara Town, Sweets Shop, Made by Hataya Yasushige." Family crest is shown on opposing sides of the boxes.
