Japanese antique woodblock print in triptych entitled "A Picture of Yokozuna Entering the Ring" by Gyokuha Kiwani (active 1900-1920). The highest ranking sumo wrestler, the yokozuna is shown in the center flanked by two other wrestlers during the ring entering ceremony. The yokozuna is easily identified by the wide white rope he wears around his waist. The referee is seated to the right, holding a wide ceremonial fan. A CHINESE 'QINGBAI' Cup & Stand, SONG Dynasty (960-1279 AD)
The thinly potted shallow cup rising from a short flared foot to an everted rim, the rounded sides divided into six petal lobes by notches around the rim, resting on a stand of saucer shape with a hexalobed rim and stepped pedestal in the center, all on a trefoil-pierced petal-shaped foot, both covered overall with a pale ice-blue translucent glaze.
There is a single old kitsugi repair in gold on rim.
