Japanese porcelain vase of a tapered cylindrical form, with flatted top, and small fluted mouth. The piece depicts three herons in white against a navy blue enamel ground. The foot is signed by Nishiura Enji with two character signature in cobalt blue. Nishiura's studio was famous for it's 'spraying technique' which was unique at the time.

Chinese Celadon Qingbai dish, with foliate edges and petal form walls framing the well. The center well is incised with a blossoming flower motif. The foot is slightly recessed and left unglazed in the center.

Chinese eggshell thin porcelain qingbai dish. The well is incised with swirling motifs of floral scrolls and score marks, while the underside is formed as a lotus blossom with many petals.

An unusual Japanese circular wooden stand with black and red lacquer finish, the edges of the stand are inlaid with shell, standing on slight cabriole tripod feet.

Chinese jadeite carved wide toothed hair comb with bright apple green coloration areas. The back of the comb is carved with openwork scrolls.

Chinese jade boulder, carved with al old scholar and child in front of a viewing pavilion under a pine tree, the central openwork carvings a pale jade green with a deep russet exterior color.

Japanese tachi-kake or samurai's sword stand, black lacquered and rich intricate shell inlay work, with a reishi mushroom shaped finial.

Chinese calligraphy brush pot, all hand-carved from bamboo. The low relief carvings depict a group of scholars riding in a boat through a rocky landscape scene with hanging pine branches. The rendering is similar to ink painting. Has subtle silver inlay in the river.
