Chinese Set of Three - Hardwood Chairs and Tea Table
The set is entirely carved in high relief of lingzhi fungus intertwined and layered, creating an imaginative form of a deer, frog, and other figures. The throne-like chair with a waist, five panel slats and stiles, and slight carved cabriole legs all finely carved and connected. The tea table is waist high with a mitered corner and a smooth surface. The cabriole legs are supported with an additional stretcher for strength.

Small Indian Jain Bronze Figure of Vishnu and Lakshmi
Small Indian Jain bronze depicting the seated figure of Vishnu with Lakshmi seated on his left knee. Lakshmi, the inseparable energy of Vishnu, sits with her right arm around Vishnu's waist. Below him on the rectangular platform is the tiny figure of his vehicle Garuda, identifiable by his tiny but unmistakable wings. Two other smaller figures hold up each of Vishnu's knees.

Pair of Antique Japanese Buddhist Attendants
Japanese pair of Buddhist attendant figures. Each figure is carved of wood and painted with mineral pigments. Fine details are painted in gold gilt. They are draped in Chinese robes with long flowing sleeves, each wearing an ornate metal headdress. One attendant holds an offering, the other, a flower scepter made of wire with glass and wooden beads. Their inlaid eyes are made of glass.

Edo Period (1603-1868)
