Korean stacking two section chest. Made up of solid elm hardwood. Lower section has a front hinged compartment bandaji trunk. Upper compartment has a pair of hinged doors sitting above a set of four pull our drawers. Inside two shelves provide for convenient use of space. Original hardware.

Antique Japanese jingasa, samurai helmet made of hammered copper. Bulbous form with rounded rim. Zinc lining and copper hooks with a hemp cord. A single character mon in black lacquer on the front. On a custom metal stand.
The samurai class in feudal Japan, as well as their retainers and footsoldiers (ashigaru), used several types of jingasa made from iron, copper, wood, paper, bamboo, or leather.

Rare Edo Japanese fudog fukusa embroidery. The silk panel is embroidered in gold with detailed fu dog climbing the mountainous terrain. Backed on its original green velvet organic material.
