A beautiful Japanese lacquer jubako, or tiered storage box, with nishiji background made from sprinkled gold flakes. Each side is decorated by maki-e lacquer imagery of shochikubai, meaning "three friends of winter", bamboo, plum, and pine with gold and silver leaves and flowers. The interior of each level is coated in bright red lacquer. The jubako comes with its own tomobako, or storage box, as well as a second lid. Size: 17" height, 9" width

Antique Japanese unusual chest with deep red lacquer background, its front, sides, back, and top decorated by metal overlay butterflies and dragonflies with gilt lacquer flower blossoms and leaves. Two hinged doors in front lock in the center by a large, shapely lock incised with flora, complete with key. Inside are many drawers with squared handles and gilt lacquer designs of leaves. Antique Japanese bronze mizusashi with lid, decorated with waves. The mizusashi is a vessel used during the Japanese tea ceremony to hold water. The body of the container has a dragon's head on each side with a bronze ring. The lid is decorated with a band of waves, the handle is rounded. Meiji period, 1868-1912. True original bronze Vessal It measures 10" tall with lid, 6.5" wide at opening 11" at widest point (dragon to dragon handle).

Antique Chinese cloisonne box decorated with a beautiful floral pattern of chrysanthemums, peonies, and other flowers. The lid of the box is hinged, it has an auspicious symbol in the middle of the box. The box is supported by four small round metal feet, the underside is sky blue. The interior of the box is lined with wood and has two compartments. Republic Period (Circa 1912) It measures 5.75" deep 4" tall 9.25" wide.

Antique Chinese cloisonné round container with enamel floral and "Shou" designs. The top of the lid has a round, flat jade finial. Antique Chinese jadeite carving of two identical furry critters, possibly foxes, curled together in a yin yang fashion. The jadeite has parts that are a glowing lavender with muted green areas. The carving is pierced through and may be worn as a pendant. Size: 2" width, .75" thickness
