An antique Chinese Lingbi stone (scholar's rock or spirit stone) has a very distinct ring when it is struck. Scholar's rocks are appreciated for their unusual shapes, asymmetry, color and texture. Scholars refer to them as "bones of the earth". It is a carved blackish stone overhang with perforations. It set upon a contemporary Shuozhou style carved rosewood base with 4 rounded feet.

Chinese set of two (2) hollowed, wooden carvings, in a quarter-circle shape so as to be hung from the wall in a hemisphere, painted with bright iridescent pigments in shades of gold, blue, green, and red. Wonderful Chinese Yixing box with crayfish on lid, cylindrical body with seal on bottom, round lid is made of black clay with highly raised red yixing crayfish, beautiful detail and large imperial mark with writing on the inside of lid. Size: 3 1/2" high x 4 3/4" wide diameter.

Antique bronze pot with a flared back used for heating surfaces, with small raised diamond patterns and large oriental designs on its front and sides. It has a handle topped with skillfully carved bone in the shape of a court official with a long beard, which he twirls in his fingers. Chinese porcelain rice bowl with a matching footed lid, decorated with red snarling dragons, surrounded by pink and blue puffs of smoke and red embers. The lid's top has pink flowers with pretty twisting vines, and around the bottom of the bowl is a blue-green wave pattern. Set of two (2) Chinese porcelain tea cups decorated with blue linear designs and flowers in shades of red, blue, and greenish yellow with long stems and pretty green leaves. The inside bottom of each cup has an orange flower between two yellow flowers within a blue ring. Mark on bottom reads "Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi" or "Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made".
