This is combined with traditional Chinese knot work to highlight a special antique jade carving. The carving, a medallion shaped piece of green and yellow jade, has a pair of chimera facing a central Shou symbol signifying longevity, health, and a long, prosperous life.

Chinese antique small cinnabar lacquer cabinet richly carved with scenes of scholars and pavilions near a lake with boats. Even the negative space in the picture is carved with intricate three dimensional patterns. The cabinet opens via two hinged doors to reveal an interior with four small drawers, each carved with geometric pattern. A compartment on the left for storing larger items, is lacquered black. Chinese antique round lacquer footed dish inlaid with beautiful mother-of-pearl designs of flowers and vines. The inside rim of the dish is inlaid with scholar objects including a brush, scrolls and coins. The flowers are precisely detailed and appear to be in the clematis family.

Chinese pottery hu vessel, dating to the Han Dynasty (206 BCE – 220 CE). The vessel is of flattened pear shape with a tall neck, flaring square mouth, and raised square base. Traces of original painted decoration remain visible in red and black pigments, including swirling cloud-like motifs and possibly stylized dragons or floral scrolls.
