Antique Chinese cloisonne vase. Globular form with long, straight neck. Decorated with designs of phoenix birds and flowers in yellow, green, blue, red and white enamel on a turquoise blue enamel ground. With a cloisonné four-character mark on the bottom.

Antique Chinese Chizhou stoneware kendi (handleless pouring vessel with spout). Also called Tz'u-chou, this high-fire stoneware is decorated with rich brown-black glaze. It has a raised design of a band of flowers around it's middle and a scalloped pattern around it's mouth. The elegant form has a tapered spout with a slight bend.

Antique Chinese porcelain brush washer. Semi-conical form with doucai decoration of swirling clouds. Very fine lines with subtle overglaze colors on a white ground. The doucai technique allows for controlled details and vibrant colors as the outlines are first painted on as a blue underglaze and then fired. After this step, the colors are applied using lovely enamel overglazes and the object is fired again at a lower temperature. The bottom of this brush washer has a Qianlong mark in blue... Antique Chinese small blue and white glazed porcelain ink cake container. The lid is domed and decorated with a lively five-clawed dragon floating in a sky with wisps of clouds and the flaming jewel. The bottom portion of the container is also decorated with a wave-like pattern and a Qianlong mark. Inside are still the colorful ink remnants from it's previous scholarly owner.

Antique Chinese porcelain brush washer in the form of an opening lotus blossom. On one side is a pair of bats and on the other lingzhi mushrooms. Delicately carved and glazed white with brown, orange and gold over painting. Very subtle purple and green high lights on the tips of the lotus petals. Sits on a hardwood stand intricately carved with more bats and lingzhi. Daoguang Period (1821-1850)

Antique Chinese porcelain water coupe in the form of a pine branch. Whimsically sculpted with a gibbon hanging from it's handle. Glazed a lovely mauve color on the outside and a white glaze inside. Underside has Wang Bing Rong mark in a raised cartouche. Wang Bing Rong (1840-1900) specialized in carved decoration on porcelain and was active during the Tongzhi to Gunagxu Period.

Antique pair of deep brown lacquer bowls. Carved all over with detailed scenes of scholars in gardens and pavilions in the mountains. Dramatic rock formations and various trees. The inside and bottom of each bowl is lacquered black. The rim and foot are ringed in bronze.

Antique Chinese pair of porcelain bowls, glazed white and with detailed overpainting in orange and gold of dragons and flaming pearl. Each bowl has two five-clawed dragons on either side of the pearl. Eyes are green and black and every scale is finely outlined in gold. Daoguang (1821-1850) mark on the bottom.

Antique Chinese miniature scroll table made of mixed hardwood. Carved apron with pierced scrolling motif and chimera heads. The top is made with three solid sections of burl hardwood. Beautifully carved and finished.
