Antique Chinese blue and white porcelain vase. With images of peony flowers and double blue band below the lip and above the foot. The tall cylindrical neck flutes to a rounded body with slightly tapered foot.

A Chinese gourd shaped water dropper in the form of a tiny tea pot with a hinged lid, cast with motifs of scrolling vines in low relief, with a long, prominent spout, with tripod feet. The base is imprinted with a foliate motif. With original patina.

Antique Chinese pair of porcelain hat stands, glazed with a light orange ground, enamel motifs of various flowers including peony, chrysanthemum, birds, insects, gourd bottles, and other auspicious objects. Each stand is of a hexagonal form with pierced melon shaped areas. The feet are slightly recessed with white underglaze and buff edges.

Chinese altar fruit offering in Blanc de Chine. The peach has a tendril like stem and three leaves. The base is left unglazed with a single ventilation hole to prevent it from exploding or cracking during firing.

Chinese circular porcelain plaque with enamel scene of Qingao in a green robe mounted on a carp. With calligraphy and red chop. Titled "Qingao kea li". The face of the plaque is on a step pedestal with a bare, textured backside.

Chinese hand-carved brush pot made from bamboo, with detailed scenes of maidens viewing a pair of swimming ducks below a bridge, with background of bamboo groves and scholar rock formations.

19th Century

Large pair of Chinese wooden gate doors with hand-forged iron plates and hardware. The pair of doors are opened by iron fu dog heads with large ring pulls in their mouths. The top and bottom iron plates on the front of each door have foliate edges in lingzhi mushroom motifs, with iron studs and horizontal iron bands. The doors have wooden pegs to be inserted into a door frame.

Antique Chinese ink stone in the form of a lotus leaf with a small crab. The underside is signed with calligraphy inscription. With a hard stone inlay hardwood storage box.

Dimensions: 8" x 9" x 1.75" H

Antique Chinese ink stone with hand-carved motifs of a bird with lily pads. The stone is smooth with patina and wear from use. The scholar object is enclosed with a hardwood case with inlay shell lotuses. Maybe Zitan.
