A pair of Indonesian lamps comprised of wood temple carvings and Mica shades that were later added. The faces have carved leaves while the eaves have leaves that cascade down.

Antique Philippine container cover most likely from the Ifugauo people and part of a punamhan (ceremonial ritual) box or a pukok rice container. Carved with a guardian figure in relief. Confidently hewn with sure chisel marks and dark patina.

An antique Papau New Guinea Yipwon figure of the Alamblak people. Anthropomorphic opposing hook style hardwood carving. A large one such as this was collectively owned by clans and worshipped to bring victory to battles and success during hunting. The Yipwon is the patron spirit of warfare and hunting. Custom metal fabricated stand supports the figure.

Antique Burmese/Thai religious text in book form. Written in ink on paper, folded and and bound so that the pages accordion and are covered with writing on both front and back. The covers of the book are embossed and lacquered with red covered with gold which has gained a lovely patina over time.

An antique Thai Manuscript Storage Cabinet made of Teak that was used to store and preserve Buddhist scriptures that were written on manuscripts made of palm-leaf as well as text on Buddhism written on Khoi paper. Often donated by wealthy patrons to monasteries, they housed these venerable writings. It was decorated using a technique called Lai Rod Nam that is gold on a black lacquer ground. Antique Philippine barong sword with carved wooden handle and inlaid scabbard. The single sided leaf-shaped blade is attached to a hardwood handle with silver and natural fibers. The scabbard (taguban) is carved of wood, wrapped with rattan and has shell inlay in elaborate Islamic filigree. From the predominately Islamic Sulu Islands of Southern Philippines.

Hard to find Javanese Solid Teak wooden wheeled secure storage trunk from Jakarta. Handpainted with original pigments of green, russet chestnut orange with patterns of foliated flowers and rolling waves. Carved shell located at the lower center of the base.

A rare Himalayan hardwood storage chest with a simple hinge top lid. Originally from the foothills of the Himalayas this chest would have been used to keep safe storage of dry goods. All hand carved with geometric designs. Hand forged chain that hooks and secures the lid closed. Original finish with natural coloring. Very sturdy and in pristine condition.

Antique Thai figure of seated Buddha Shakyamuni. Made of bronze and seated with his hands folded in meditation (Dhyana mudra).
