Antique Indian painting of two men riding on the back of a camel. Beautiful detail work in their garments and hair. The quick gait of the camel is conveyed in it's wide steps and the backward motion of the tassels and drapery. Painted in gouache pigments on paper. Framed.

Antique Chinese pair of porcelain bowls, glazed white and with detailed overpainting in orange and gold of dragons and flaming pearl. Each bowl has two five-clawed dragons on either side of the pearl. Eyes are green and black and every scale is finely outlined in gold. Daoguang (1821-1850) mark on the bottom.

Antique Japanese large fruit basket. Wide and flat body woven with very fine, narrow sections of split bamboo. The handle is made of two bamboo branches, joined with intricate knot-work. Beautiful dark color and patina.

Antique Japanese ikebana basket for flower arranging. Round body with wide split bamboo and twisted rope bamboo foot and neck. The dramatic, arching handle is made of gnarled wisteria branches. Beautiful deep reddish finish and dark patina.

Antique Chinese miniature scroll table made of mixed hardwood. Carved apron with pierced scrolling motif and chimera heads. The top is made with three solid sections of burl hardwood. Beautifully carved and finished.

Antique Chinese fan painting of a dramatic group of various rock formations. The painting is modeled after a painting by Jin Nong (1687–1773) from his Fruits & Flora series. The writing on the upper left hand side of the fan is a poem:

弁山有葉氏大小玲瓏石，
雙井黃家有爛溪，
溪々中石皆爲艺林所重。
余漫意寫之，
落々然如挹高人面目也。

Chinese fan painting of a stand of bamboo growing near a group of moss-covered rocks. A poem written in the upper right hand corner says: 细竹千竿満地 which translates as "A thousand stalks of slender bamboo cover the ground". The seal is a bit hard to make out but appears to read: 鄭 Zhèng. That character seems to also appear towards the end of the text. The next character after it and in the seal is 名 (míng, 'name'). In the text, the last 2 characters are 学 (xué, 'study') and... Antique Chinese fan painting with a poem by Song-dynasty poet Lu You. The original poem was written around 1201 when he was 76 and describes local delicacies from the area where he grew up. The fan is signed on the lower left side by 魏惟一 Wèi Wéiyī and seal: 惟一Wéiyī. The old poem translates as the following:

Shanyin was once known as Little Penglai...
Tea leaf buds...
Shoots of herbs...

A vintage Chinese wine table made of Nongmu wood. With Keyfret aprons and stretchers along the base. Carved feet and table perimeter. Beautiful wood grain along the table top.

An antique Japanese Ryo Biraki Tansu made of Suginoki (Cryptomeria) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware including the Warabite handles and the natural Urushi lacquer. The two hinged doors hide 6 drawers of varying sizes. Constructed using straight dovetail Japanese joinery and hardened wooden nails.
