Antique Persian Baluch rug, 100% hand woven wool in rust brown, light red, and indigo hues, with repeating geometric motifs throughout. These rugs are hand-knotted by the nomads of Baluch. Baluch or Baluchistan is the area between the borders of Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan-- this is why Baluch rugs are said to be a mixture of three different regions.

Antique Japanese 2 section 6ft Mizuya with dark red lacquer frame made of Hinoki (cypress) wood, with Sugi (cedar) sides, and Keyaki (elm) burl hardwood front panel drawers and sliders edged with black lacquer frame. Antique Caucasian Azeri runner carpet, hand-woven 100% wool in a Karaja design of two large central diamond medallions flanked by Heriz style medallions, surrounded by angular and geometric floral motifs, in hues of rust, indigo, bright green and yellow.

Chinese pair of fu dog temple guardians, carved hardwood with old remnants of blue, red, and white pigments. Each fu dog is formed with intricate detail and expression, one with a pearl in its partially open mouth. Mounted on steel plates for museum quality presentation.

Tibetan hand-woven seat cover, once would have used by a Buddhist priest. The region of Ningxia supplied the Buddhist monasteries of western China and Tibet with these rugs. The textile with central four prong vajra, with vajra corner guards and a simple guard band border. Hand-woven wool with cotton.
