Antique Chinese small hardwood display cabinet, with multi-tiered platforms for the display of tea articles and other special pieces. The front of the cabinet has two front hinged doors carved with fu dogs, its apron below carved with scrolling motifs. The interior holds two small secret drawers and an open storage compartment.

A lovely antique hand-knotted wool Chinese Mongolian rug, with scene of a white cat seated on a structure of rocks, its head pointed towards the sky in observation of a nearby butterfly, with branches of blue and red flowers against a red ground. Antique Korean painting on silk of peonies in tones of pink and bright red, blooming from an upwards reaching branch with leaves. Calligraphy with signature of Wou Dang Chang Ryu, a highly important and heroic figure in Korean art. With minor wear.

Chinese porcelain brush pot, of a cylindrical form with a raised lip and base. Imagery of a crane flying low over rolling waves and clouds carved in relief. The underglaze is a light yellow over the front and insides while the foot is unglazed and recessed with a chop.

Antique Japanese single section isho tansu (clothing chest of drawers). Made with Kiri (paulownia) and Sugi (cedar) woods with original finish. The chest holds 5 long drawers and 3 smaller side drawers, with hirute drawer pulls and rectangular iron locks.

Small porcelain ko-sometsuke plate made in China for the 17th century Japanese market. Blue and white design of three running rabbits. A bird, possibly a phoenix flies in the sky. Around the rim of the plate are four galloping horses. The underside of the plate is decorated with three thin blue rings and a simple dot pattern. Antique Japanese small chest with drawers, called a dibukuro. Traditional Japanese homes hold a tea ceremony room with a tokonama, or a recessed closet/alcove in which pieces of artistic appeal would be displayed such as hanging scrolls, pottery, okimono and ikebana floral arrangements. Chinese bronze 3 piece figure of a donkey and rider. The old man rider holds a scepter in his hands. His hat may be removed and incense placed inside his head, so the smoke would billow out from the front. On hardwood display stand with scroll legs.
