Chinese Antique Fan Painting of Rocks Formations
Antique Chinese fan painting of a dramatic group of various rock formations. The painting is modeled after a painting by Jin Nong (1687–1773) from his Fruits & Flora series. The writing on the upper left hand side of the fan is a poem:

弁山有葉氏大小玲瓏石,
雙井黃家有爛溪,
溪々中石皆爲艺林所重。
余漫意寫之,
落々然如挹高人面目也。

Chinese Antique Fan Painting of Bamboo and Rocks
Chinese fan painting of a stand of bamboo growing near a group of moss-covered rocks. A poem written in the upper right hand corner says: 细竹千竿満地 which translates as "A thousand stalks of slender bamboo cover the ground". The seal is a bit hard to make out but appears to read: 鄭 Zhèng. That character seems to also appear towards the end of the text. The next character after it and in the seal is 名 (míng, 'name'). In the text, the last 2 characters are 学 (xué, 'study') and... Chinese Fan Painting by Wèi Wéiyī with Poem of Wild Foods by Lu You
Antique Chinese fan painting with a poem by Song-dynasty poet Lu You. The original poem was written around 1201 when he was 76 and describes local delicacies from the area where he grew up. The fan is signed on the lower left side by 魏惟一 Wèi Wéiyī and seal: 惟一Wéiyī. The old poem translates as the following:

Shanyin was once known as Little Penglai...
Tea leaf buds...
Shoots of herbs...

Chinese painting of a pair of a pair of ducks swimming under blossoming branches by the artist, Cui Zifan (1915–2011) . The first 4 characters at the top give the title: 江上秋 Jiāngshàng Qiūsè "Autumn Color on the River".
The next 2 characters are: 古稀 Gǔxī "Age 70".
The characters below the flowers say: 子范 Zifan
The seal says: 崔 Cui
He has dated the painting with a word signifying his 70th year, 1985.

A fine example of a low rectangular Huanghuali low table. Original finish is great condition. Figurative grain, texture, color, odor testing confirms the low table is 100% Huanghuali hardwood.
The common characteristics of these woods are hardness, corrosion-resistant, having distinct textures, and furniture made of them is beautiful and durable. These raw materials are now rare and expensive

Chinese Antique Monochrome Turquoise Porcelain Coupe
Amazing antique Chinese porcelain dish. Beautifully formed, glazed with a rich monochrome turquoise color. Standing on four small unglazed feet. Intricately decorated with tiny drum-like rivets around the outer edge and on the inside with raised stylized 5-bat motif around a central prosperity symbol. The underside has an incised 6 character Qianlong zhuanzhu mark (1735-1796) or later.

Chinese Antique Monochrome Porcelain Low Bowl, Yongzheng Mark
Antique Chinese large porcelain low bowl possibly for bulbs. Shallow, oval form with purplish-blue monochrome glaze and four low feet. Zhuanshu Yongzheng mark (1722-1735) under glaze on the bottom. With wooden stand.

Chinese Antique Serpentine Ink Stone with Calligraphy
Antique Chinese ovoid form ink stone carved of green serpentine and inscribed with calligraphy on one side and archaic script on the reverse. The text on the front of the ink stone references a quote from the Analects of Confucius:
子曰:“不患人之不己知,患不知人也。 Which translates as Xue Er: The Master said, "I will not be afflicted at men's not knowing me; I will be afflicted that I do not know men." There is a key difference however in the middle of the phrase. ... Click for details
