Antique Japanese fireman's hood. Made of layers of indigo cotton sashiko and decorated on the inside with a scene of a dragon in storm clouds. The outside of the hood is indigo with bands of red. Comes with a custom metal stand.

Rare Edo Ressei-men, Split Chin Samurai Iron Menpo Mask
This unusual me-no-shita type (half face, literally “under the eyes”) samurai mask features a fine hammered surface that is embossed to create lengthy, deep, and sharp wrinkles across the entire face. The nose is rather large, and the chin has a very rare natural split indicating samurai had this as well as is indication menpo made by Myōchin armorers.
