An antique Japanese carved wood architectural fragment of a strong healthy Sea Bream swimming through the rough sea current. Made from one solid piece of Keyaki (Zelkova) wood, this piece originates from an old Japanese country inn known as a Ryokan.

An antique pair of Japanese ceremonial boxes made of wood and decorated in natural Urushi lacquer and mother of pearl (Raden). All original hand forged iron fittings. Calligraphy writing reads "Kameyama, Kawara Town, Sweets Shop, Made by Hataya Yasushige." Family crest is shown on opposing sides of the boxes.

An antique Japanese Tansu chest known as a Gifu Choba Tansu in 2 sections made entirely of Hinoki (Cypress) wood. All original hand forged iron fittings and natural aged patina. An antique Japanese Buddhist temple altar offering table made entirely of Keyaki wood. Original bronze hard mounts used to reinforce the Japanese joinery. Removable top used to freshen the look of the table when burns from incense and candles affect its appearance. All sides of the table have a design taken from the Chinese 5th Century Tang Dynasty.

An antique Japanese Funa Tansu (ship chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia). All original hand forged iron hardware with a wiped lacquer finish. The front hinged security door opens to 5 drawers of varying sizes where ship documents, valuables and records were kept. Secret box hides behind and to the left of the bottom right drawer.
