Antique Japanese Usubata Flower Container Signed Tounsai
Antique Japanese small bronze usubata, container for ikebana flower arrangements. The upper vase section has a wide, round rim and sits into a stand held up by three dragons. The rim of the upper section and the the rim of the base are decorated with matching key fret motifs. The bottom of the upper section is has a 4 character mark, 渡雲斎鋳 Cast by Tounsai.

Rare Edo Ressei-men, Split Chin Samurai Iron Menpo Mask
This unusual me-no-shita type (half face, literally “under the eyes”) samurai mask features a fine hammered surface that is embossed to create lengthy, deep, and sharp wrinkles across the entire face. The nose is rather large, and the chin has a very rare natural split indicating samurai had this as well as is indication menpo made by Myōchin armorers.
