Antique Japanese Okina Noh Mask Pin
Japanese antique broach in the form of an old man, Okina performance mask. The pin is made of bronze and silver mixed metal with details in red lacquer. Backed in silver with a silver mark and pin. The mask that this broach is modeled after would have been worn by kyōgen dancers in between Noh theatre acts. Signed: Akimitsu.

Antique Japanese Shibayama Lacquer Bowl
Japanese antique eight lobed dish with gold and shell inlaid lacquer (shibayama). Each lobe is decorated in makie, the flora and fauna of the four seasons with archaic designs set in between. The central area of the dish is depicting a female figure holding a lotus with a child attendant holding a bouquet of lotuses. The bottom is crafted in nashiji lacquer with a gold lacquer signature set in a medallion motif reading: Kaneko Zo, or Produced by Kaneko.
