Japanese antique lacquer inro with five reserve scenes of landscapes and implements most likely representing the Seven Lucky Gods. The inro has rounded edges and is almost oval in form. It has five sections (four compartments) and is lacquered entirely in very fine gold nashiji. There are 3 scenes on one side and 2 on the other in raised maki-e lacquer. Seated bronze Burmese Buddha with traces of gold an original patina. Calm meditative Buddhasitting in the bhumisparsha mudra. Antique Japanese jingasa, samurai helmet made of hammered copper. Bulbous form with rounded rim. Zinc lining and copper hooks with a hemp cord. A single character mon in black lacquer on the front. On a custom metal stand.
