Japanese Antique Bronze Lotus Leaf Usubata with Frogs
Japanese antique bronze usubata, container for ikebana flower arranging, in the form of a lotus leaf standing on three feet shaped like lotus stems and flower pods. Two frogs are facing each other on either side of the bowl. The bronze has a deep reddish brown patina.

Meiji/Taisho period (c. early 1900's)

Edo Iron Japanese Samurai Momonari Jingasa
Original Japanese hand forged iron jingasa (war hat) in momonari style, translating to a peach-shaped war hat. The momonari jingasa as well as kabuto (helmet) were good at bufferinf the effect against direct attacks from weapons.
